Business Administration Name: Mustafa Mohamed Metwally ID: 108122 Business Administration 1-What is business Administration? -Business administration: Is the process of managing every aspect of a business in order for it to maintain its growth or stability, depending on the overall goal of the owner or owners. Most companies have a dedicated group of administrators who work to ensure this takes place. Most also work to get to this point by setting up a hierarchy. This starts with lower management, and works its way through middle management to upper management. 2- What is the management? -Management: Is the process of getting activities completed efficiently and effectively with and through other people. 3-Define in brief three of the management functions? -A. Planning: To determine what should happen in the future and determine how best to achieve the goals of the institution. B. Employment: Selection and appointment of staff with a focus on the development the right person in the right place. C. Directive: Lead and inspire staff towards the achievement of institutional goals. D. Control: Monitor achievements against objectives and report appropriate adjustments in the light of feedback note that the coordination and follow-up is part of the control. E. Coordination: Is the link between the activities or actions to be achieved. F. Follow-up: Match the real operations, as specified in the plan. 4-Decision making is one of the important tool for the modern Management functions? Please explain. -Decision-making process: Is the target that aims institutions to be achieved through various administrative processes, which is access to an appropriate decision for the development of the institution or to solve a problem faced by the institution. 5-what are the definitions of the total quality administration? -Total Quality Management: Is a strategic management is concerned with quality in all operations. The use of total quality management in many areas such as manufacturing, education, government and service industries. 6- compare between the management by objectives and the management information? A-Management by objectives : Can be defined as a system of management by objectives set by the organization and the way you want to reach and measure the results achieved. The beginnings of this technology due to "Peter Drucker" in his book "The pracrice of management", published in 1954, which emphasized the importance of establishing goals for the organization and the individual together. This type of management is a set of processes involved in the implementation of both the President and his subordinates, and include operations to identify targets to be achieved are clearly defined and to identify areas of primary responsibility of each individual in the organization in light of expected results; and use these standards as criteria to regulate the conduct of the administrative process. Also, this type of management as well as its novelty is the best and most powerful administrative management; What distinguishes the management by objectives from other departments they are undemanding and harmony with common sense simple terms is a reflection of the purpose of the administration itself. B- Management information: He importance of information management as they facilitate the intellectual and logical control of the assets of information.
