Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron have designed a residential skyscraper with overhanging plates floors and terraces to Beirut (Lebanon)
Created as part of a broader master plan for the restoration of the area of the city, which includes a marina, the building will have five different modular slabs used in variable combinations. This will be done in order to create the illusion of layering ledges and terraces
Skyscraper cover vegetation on the terraces to ensure privacy and to enter into the overall landscape surrounding green boulevard. It will be 116 m tall, and floors should hang over the windows about 60 inches. The house built 129 one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments
Project will be completed in 2013
